Who are we?
We are a commercial photography studio called Beast started by Boone Rodriguez. We shoot advertising work for folks like BMW, American Express & Nike. When we aren’t doing that, we shoot portraits and personal work.
How do we do it?
Schedule a shoot. Chat creative direction over email. Pop by the studio with a handful of wardrobe options. Shoot. Review it all on the ol' laptop. Shoot some more & nail the shot. High five once or twice. Cheers a La Croix. Go home happy.

FAQ's
Studio
Currently, studio location will vary based on scheduling and shoot needs. Our regular rental studio Beast Daylight is temporarily closed while we relocate to a new space.
On Location
We’re happy to shoot anywhere. Please let us know what you’re looking for. If you want us to set up shop at your space let us know what it looks like, how much room there is, and what kind of light you’re workin’ with. Rates will vary for on location work.
1 Hour
We keep each individual session to 60 minutes. If you're short on time let us know and we'll be prepped and ready to get you in and out.
Wardrobe
Bring a handful of options. Bring tops that compliment or contrast with your skin tones, hair & eye color. Bring stuff that fits well and makes you feel great. Most of all make sure it's clean and wrinkle free because that shit's gonna show. Before we get shooting we'll look through what you have and make a game plan together. Avoid stuff that will distract from your beautiful face. Choose things that will compliment your beautiful face.
Creative Direction
Before we start shooting lets take a minute to chat about the look and feel of the portrait you want. If you have any examples we're down to check them out.
HMUA
We can hook you up with a Hair & Makeup Artist. They run about $150 for one person, and generally like to have an hour before the shoot to do you up. They’ll stick around during the shoot to keep an eye on fly away hair and all the other good things. For larger groups they’ll do a day rate that tops out around $750.
Wardrobe Stylist
We can hook you up with a stylist. Rates vary depending on if you want them to shop for you before the shoot or show up and style with what you bring. We love having them if you’ll be having your whole team photographed. They’ll email the group some valuable direction on what options to bring and coordinate, steam & style on the day of the shoot.
Workflow
We’ll shoot tethered to a computer so we can review along the way and dial it in until it’s looking how we want. Unedited proofs are shared through a private online proofing gallery. Once I get your select or selects turn around time for retouching and delivery is 2-5 days.
Credit Cards
We prefer cash or checks, but if you prefer a card we ask for a 5% processing fee. Venmo or Square Cash is cool tho.
Model Test Shoots
We do book building test shoots with 4 looks for $700. We occasionally do tfp test shoots with a signed model release. Feel free to submit yourself to casting@boonerodriguez.com.
